1999 Durango ABS & Brake Light

A friend has a 1999 Durango. ABS and brake light started staying on a couple of days ago. I did a google search and found the rear speed sensor is a common problem that will cause this. Anyone else had this problem?

You need to scan to find the dtc.

I think Napa might do it for free around here.

Otherwise, you may be replacing parts, chasing the problem...

She already had it fixed. According to her the mechanic said, "The sensors were bad." I'm not sure if the mechanic replaced more than one sensor or how much it cost her to have it fixed. I didn't ask about the cost and she didn't tell me. ......
